Final Conference

We have the pleasure to announce that the final conference of the FutureFood6 project is going to be held on 27 January 2009. The conference will be held from 8:30 to 17:20 at the Tech Gate Vienna, Donaucity Strasse 1, Vienna, Austria.

The conference is devoted to stimulate dialogue among the stakeholders in the food industry to launch measures towards promoting healthy and safe food for the future in the Central and Eastern Europe countries. The conference is composed from two blocks: the first one will provide an overview on the relevant issues regarding the food industry globally and in Europe and the second one will present and discuss the main results on the project such as Socio-ecnomic Scenarios, Key Technologies´ assessment, Future Visions, Road-mapping and Policy Recommendations. The conference is an opportunity for the interested parties to evaluate the results and discuss concrete measures for the future of the food industry in the region.
